How to Check Your Application Status
To check the status of your application, you need the unique **Application ID** that was provided to you at the time of submission. The process is quick and can be done entirely online:
- Visit the official portal: Go to the **Connect Punjab** website.
- Navigate to 'Track Services': On the homepage, locate and click the 'Track Services' link.
- Enter Application ID: Enter your unique application ID in the provided field.
- View Status: Click 'Submit' to see the current status of your certificate application.
The same portal can also be used to **verify** a certificate by entering its unique number.
Brief on Certificate Applications
While checking the status is simple, here is a brief overview of the application process for each certificate, which can be initiated online or at a Sewa Kendra:
- Caste Certificate: This is issued to citizens belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Backward Classes (BC) to claim reservations. Required documents include an application form, Aadhaar card, and proof of residence.
- Income Certificate: This document certifies a family's annual income and is necessary for various government schemes, scholarships, and fee concessions. It requires an application form, Aadhaar card, and proof of income.
- Domicile Certificate: This is a proof of residence in Punjab and is required for admissions to educational institutions or government jobs. The application requires proof of residence for a specified period and other identity documents.
