Online Application Process

The Mizoram e-District Portal is the single window for applying for these certificates. The process is as follows:

  1. Visit the e-District Portal: Go to the official Mizoram e-District portal at https://edistrict.mizoram.gov.in/.
  2. Register and Log In: If you are a new user, register for an account by providing your personal details. If you have an existing account, log in with your credentials.
  3. Select the Service: Navigate to the `Services` section and select the specific certificate you wish to apply for (e.g., 'Application for Permanent Residential Certificate').
  4. Fill in the Application Form: Fill out the online application form with all the mandatory details accurately.
  5. Upload Documents & Pay Fee: Upload the required documents in the specified format. After uploading, make the online payment of the application fee.
  6. Submit and Get Reference Number: Submit the application. An acknowledgment slip with a unique application reference number will be generated. Save this number for future use.

To check the status of a submitted application, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the e-District Portal: Visit the official portal and click on the 'Application Status' or a similar tracking link.
  2. Enter Reference Number: Enter the unique application reference number you received upon submission.
  3. View Status: The portal will display the current status of your application, showing whether it is under verification, approved, or pending.
  4. Download Certificate: Once the status shows 'Approved', you can download a digitally signed copy of your certificate from the portal.
