About Startup Uttar Pradesh

Startup Uttar Pradesh is an initiative under the UP Startup Policy launched to create a strong ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship. The government aims to support startups through funding, mentorship, tax exemptions, and incubation support across sectors including IT, agriculture, manufacturing, health, and education.

• Seed Funding: Financial support for early-stage startups.
• Interest & Capital Subsidy: Reimbursement of expenses on infrastructure and loan interest.
• Tax Benefits: Exemption from certain state-level taxes and duties.
• Incubation Support: Access to incubation centers across UP for technical and business support.

• Women & SC/ST Support: Special provisions and incentives for women-led and SC/ST startups.
• Market Access: Priority in state government procurement and exposure in startup events.

Eligibility Criteria

• The startup must be recognized by DPIIT (Government of India).
• It should be a private limited company, registered partnership, or LLP.
• Business must be innovative or bring significant improvement in product/process/service.
• Startup should be incorporated within the last 10 years with turnover not exceeding Rs. 100 Crore.
• Startup should have operations or incubation in Uttar Pradesh.

How to Apply / Register

1. Visit the official Startup Uttar Pradesh Portal: startinup.up.gov.in
2. Create an account using your Email ID / Mobile number.
3. Login and choose the option Apply for Startup Recognition / Incentives.
4. Fill out the application form with details about your business, sector, and team.
5. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
6. Submit your application and note the Reference Number for tracking.

How to Check Application Status

1. Go to Startup UP Portal.
2. Login with your registered details.
3. Click on Track Application.
4. Enter your Reference Number to check approval status.
