• Application Status Check: You can track the status of a new ration card application using the MeeSeva application number on the EPDS portal.
• Download e-Ration Card: The official portal or a linked service like DigiLocker allows for the download of a digital copy of the ration card, which holds the same validity as the physical card.

Eligibility Criteria and Documents

To apply for a new ration card, a family must meet specific income and landholding criteria.

• Income: An annual family income of less than ₹1.5 lakh in rural areas and ₹2 lakh in urban areas.
• Landholding: Less than 3.50 acres of wetland or less than 7.50 acres of dry land.
