All shops and commercial establishments in Rajasthan are required to register under the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958. This registration is mandatory for all businesses, including those operating from home, and it regulates aspects such as working hours, holidays, and employee rights. The entire process is managed online through the **Labour Department Management System (LDMS)** portal.

How to Apply for the License Online

The application for a new license must be submitted within 30 days of starting your business. Follow these steps:

1. Visit the LDMS Portal: Access the official online portal of the Labour Department, Rajasthan.
2. Register and Log in: If you are a new user, register your details to create an account.
3. Fill the Application: Select the option for "Shop and Establishment Act" and fill in all the required business and employee details.
4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of documents like ID proof, address proof, employee lists, and a photo of the establishment with the owner.
5. Pay Fees and Download: After the application is verified and approved, you will be prompted to pay the registration fee. Upon successful payment, you can download your license certificate from the portal.

• Photograph of the shop along with the owner.
• Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport) of the employer.
