How to Check Land Records Online

The Government of Delhi has digitized land records to promote transparency and ease of access. You can view key documents like Bhulekh, Khasra, and Khatauni online through the official portal.

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

Go to the official website of the Delhi Land Records (DLRC). The portal is managed by the Department of Revenue, Government of NCT of Delhi.

Step 2: Find Your Record

On the homepage, you will find options to search for records. The most common way is to look for "Khasra Khatauni Details under DLR Act" or "Jamabandi Details under PLR Act".

  1. Click on the relevant option for the type of record you need.
  2. You will be redirected to a new page where you need to select your District, Sub-division, and Village from the drop-down menus.
  3. Next, select the Khata Type. This will vary depending on the type of land (e.g., agricultural, non-agricultural).

Step 3: Search by Details

After selecting your location details, you will be given several options to search for the record. Choose the one that is most convenient for you.

  • Search by Khata Number: This is the account number assigned to the owner of the land.
  • Search by Khasra Number: This is a unique plot number assigned to a parcel of land in a village.
  • Search by Name: You can also search for the record by the name of the owner.

Step 4: View and Download

After entering the required information, click the 'View Details' or 'View Khata Details' button. The land record will be displayed on your screen, which you can then save or print for your records.

Key Land Record Terms Explained
